* La carátula original fue reemplazada por una versión alternativa en los Estados Unidos, pues, como ya era costumbre en los discos de Scorpions, se creó cierta controversia luego de su publicación. Pure Instinct continúa por el camino que la banda había elegido desde discos como Face the Heat: la comercialización de su sonido y la experimentación con sonidos pop, sin abandonar por completo en este caso las raíces heavy metal.
