*Guns N’ Roses es una banda de Hard Rock formada en Los Angeles, California en Estados Unidos de América en el año de 1985 por el vocalista Axl Rose, obtuvieron un total éxito e a finales de los 80’s, ya que fueron quienes despertaron al Rock, que en esas épocas se encontraba en fracaso, por el Pop, bueno los Gunners hicieron el renacimiento del Rock, han sido considerados entre los mejores grupos de Hard Rock de todos los tiempos, tienen un número de fans bastante alto, y esto lo consiguieron en tan solo 1 año, lo cual fue record, además han vendido más de 110 millones de copias alrededor del mundo, de 1987 a 1989 la banda logró algo que ninguna otra banda ha podido lograr, en 2 años la banda se apoderó totalmente del mercado musical, y claro eran los artistas que renacieron el Rock, además su Rock es duro, violento y alocado, no solo era su música, sino la imagen que dieron, es decir, su forma de vestir, la actitud de cada uno, y claro como todo roquero criticando a la sociedad y al gobierno, además de renacer a la música Rock, la banda siempre en las épocas de Slash, siempre ha tenido algunas canciones dentro de las mejores, la banda se separó por discusiones entre los miembros, sobre todo entre Slash y Axl quienes a pesar de ser grandes amigos ya no se pueden ni ver.

*Appetite For Destruction es un disco official de la banda, en el que dieron todo un Hard Rock puro, en este álbum se destacaron mundialmente tres sencillos, los cuales hasta la fecha han sido los más exitosos de la banda, los temas son “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” y “Paradise City”, las cuales son las canciones más comerciales de la banda, mi favorita de los Gunners se encuentra en este disco y es la progresiva “Rocket Queen”, el disco ha sido considerado de los mejores de todos los tiempos del Rock, y el mejor de los 80’s, siendo así el disco más vendido de los años 80’s.

*En este año (1991) la banda saca a la venta dos discos completísimos, puesto que y habían sido tres años sin hacer nada, los discos son muy largos, con 15 canciones aproximadamente cada uno, el primero que es este tiene arreglos muy buenos, la portada está inspirada en una imagen que los miembros de la banda vieron en una pintura de Grecia que es “la escuela de Atenas, además el estilo presenta un cambio al clásico Guns N’ Roses, puesto que “Appetite For Destruction” fue un disco muy pesado, este cambiaría siguiendo con el Hard Rock, pero con tintes de Blues y de música clásica, lo que hizo que el disco fuera un éxito internacional.

*Spaghetti Incident es un disco de combinaciones de Hard Rock y Punk y es un disco en el que algunos integrantes de la banda ya no estaban, el disco no fue lo que esperaba, pero al igual el tema “Since I Don’t Have You” hizo una espectacularidad comercialidad, la decepción fue quie no eran canciones editadas por ellos, sino covers de bandas de Punk, para mí el disco es un total fraude, sin Izzy la banda se dificultaba a la hora de componer, Izzy era escencial en la banda.

*Chinese Democracy es un disco realizado por miembros totalmente diferentes a los originales, excepto Axl, después de más de 10 años sin hacer otras composiciones, llega este disco, claro se esperaba algo distinto, pero la verdad es que el disco no se le puede comparar nadita a los clásicos de los Gunners, el cambio fue total, pero tuvo éxito, y el disco ha vendido aproximadamente 6 millones de copias, la verdad a mí no me agrado, porque agregaron mucha distorsión.
