Los muchachos se tomaron una temporada de descansoy reflexión. Steve Hackett aprovecha la oportunidad para grabar su primer L.P. como solista: "Voyage Of The Acolyte". Tiempo después cuando se reúnen, el cuarteto comienza a crear y a buscar un nuevo vocalista que remplazara el vacío de Gabriel.
El disco es bueno, pero como ya lo dije, Genesis se hundía, sin ideas, buscando vocales, hasta que Collins decide ser el vocal de la banda, pero las composiciones eran difíciles de hacerlas sin Gabriel, el dsco demuestra un poco de la calidad que nos dieron anteriormente.
